| HADITH/SAYINGS OF MUHAMMAD

Abdullah
bin `Amr bin Al-`as (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:
The Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) recited the Words
of Allah, the Exalted, and the Glorious, about Ibrahim (Sallallahu
Alayhi Wa Sallam) who said: "O my Rubb! They have led
astray many among humankind. But whosoever follows me, he
verily, is of me". (14:36) and those of `Isa (Jesus)
(PBUH) who said: "If You punish them, they are Your
slaves, and if You forgive them, verily, You, only You,
are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise". (5:118). Then he
(Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) raised up his hands and said,
"O Allah! My Ummah, my Ummah,'' and wept; Allah, the
Exalted, said: "O Jibril (Gabriel)! Go to Muhammad
(Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) and ask him: `What makes you
weep?" So Jibril came to him and asked him (the reason
of his weeping) and the Messenger of Allah informed him
what he had said (though Allah knew it well). Upon this
Allah said: "Jibril, go to Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi
Wa Sallam) and say: `Verily, We will please you with regard
to your Ummah and will never displease you". [Muslim]
Commentary:
This Hadith makes two points clear:
Firstly, the kindness and mercy which the Prophet (Sallallahu
Alayhi Wa Sallam) had for his Ummah, a full manifestation
of which will be seen on the Day of Resurrection.
Secondly,
the love that Allah has for His Prophet, Muhammad (Sallallahu
Alayhi Wa Sallam). Both these benefits will then go to the
advantage of the faithful Muslims as they will be then blessed
with Mercy and forgiveness of Allah. May Allah include us
among them. Ameen

TOFFEE FILLING
Ingredients
:
½ cup castor sugar
1 tblsp syrup
4 tblsp boiling water
½ tsp vanilla essence
2 oz butter
½ tin condensed milk
½ cup liquid glucose
Method
:
- Combine all the ingredients in a pot.
- Over a low heat dissolve the castor sugar, mixing all the
time to ensure that all the ingredients are properly mixed
through.
- Bring to the boil, boil for 10 minutes, stirring all the
time.
- Remove from heat and pour into a greased pan to allow for
the mixture to cool.
- Roll mixture into different shapes and dip into chocolate.

role model, my revered prophet
The light of Allah's eye
It is by mimicking your actions that
I
strive to live and die
If I can just be a mere fraction
Of the person that you were
My bounties, knowledge and goodness
Will indeed commence to incur
No
single unbeliever (black nor white)
Can aid in your defamation
It is through Allah's eyes that you are
The key to human kind's salvation
O
Prophet, my beloved prophet
The Seal of all who came before you
Your kindness, love and compassion
Cannot ever be surpassed nor eschewed
They
have tried to denounce you
Yet your name is inscribed in the throne of Allah
Indeed they'll never know love will surpass hate
And their plan to vilify you is flawed
They
can say whatever they want to say
They will unfortunately never know
The love and admiration for you that
Will ALWAYS and FOREVER continue to grow |
