Allah SWT said that which translates as: “That is because Allah SWT will not change a favour which He has bestowed upon a people until they change what is within themselves. And indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing." (Al-Anfaal: 53).

He also says that which translates as: “Have you not considered those who exchanged the favour of Allah for disbelief and settled their people [in] the home of ruin? [It is] Hell, which they will [enter to] burn and wretched is the settlement." (Ibraheem: 28-29).

O Believers! Just as your lives contain problems, afflictions and disasters, they also have great bounties and favours from Allah, who is the Most Generous. In addition Allah has blessed your lives by giving you ease through times of grief and hardships as well as and protecting you from other trials and tribulations which did not affect you. This life is the abode of hardship and ease, sorrow and joy, happiness and sadness and laughter and weeping. Things are constantly changing and the trials that we face are always different. People are tested in different ways so that the wise can learn lessons from this and the successful can take advantage of them. Doughnuts

Ingredients
4 cups flour - 4oz butter - 4 level tsp baking powder1/4 up castor sugar - 250ml fresh cream - 1 egg - 1/4 tsp salt in the egg - A sprinkle of nutmeg in the flour.

Method
Mix all ingredients to forma soft dough. Add as little milk to make the dough soft if needed. Roll out and cut with doughnut cutter. Fry in hot oil. When cool roll in castor sugar & cinnamon. 1/4 Cup castpr sugar. 1/4 tsp cinnamon.

"Hey Tommy! Come here!" yelled the barber. Tommy came bouncing over "Hi Mr. Williams!" The barber pulled out a rusty dime and a shiny quarter and told Tommy he could keep the one of his choice. Tommy looked long and hard at the dime and quarter and then quickly snapped the dime from the barber's hand. The barber looked at the businessman and said, "See, I told you."

After his haircut, the businessman caught up with Tommy and asked him why he chose the dime.

Tommy looked at him in the eye and said, "If I take the quarter, the game is over."
