SURAH AL- Jinn 72: (Jinns)
This
Surah is Makki. It has 28 verses and 2 sections.
With the name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Very- Merciful
"Say, I worship only my Rabb and I do not ascribe any as His partner" [20] "Say, Indeed I have no power to do you any good nor any harm" [21] "Say, without doubt, none can ever protect me from Allah and I cannot find any refuge besides Him" [22]
COMMENTARY: Last week mention was made that the Masaajid are solely for Allah Ta'aala's worship and not for any other beings or idols worship. It was also mentioned that when Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam used to stand up to worship Allah, the non believers used to act as obstacles in his worship.
In this weeks lesson Allah Ta'aala is ordering Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam to inform the Kuffar that they cannot be successful in coming between Him and His Allah because he only worships Allah. When the Kuffar challenged Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam to bring the punishment of Allah if he is preaching the truth, Allah Ta'aala ordered Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam to inform them that he has no power to harm them or benefit them. Harm and benefit is only from Allah and Allah Ta'aala will give harm or benefit when he wishes to. When the Kuffar asked Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam to change some parts of the Quraan in order to accommodate their likings, Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam was ordered to tell them that if such an act is done, no one will be able to protect him from Allah Ta'aala.

Chew, Chew, Chew Your Food
A medical doctor in the late 1800s and early 1900s explained how eating starch too quickly causes gas in the bowels.
"When digestion of starch is not started in the mouth by thoroughly mixing it with the mouth secretions, fermentation results, and gas fills the stomach and bowels, causing much discomfort. The bloating will in time cause constipation. When the bowels are distended with gas, peristalsis (compulsory action) is overcome, and obstinate constipation follows."
In
other words, chew your food thoroughly, especially if you're having
a starchy food.
Chewing food thoroughly also helps if you are trying to lose weight.
3 Tbsp ghee or oil - 1 onion sliced - 1 tsp whole jeeroo - 2 1/2 cups chicken fillet, cubed - pounded green and garlic, to taste - 1 tsp salt - 1/2 tsp fine black pepper - 1/2 cup crushed vermicelli - 1/2 cup water - 215 g can cream style sweetcorn - 1/4 cup flour - 8 Tbsp water.
Heat the ghee in a pot together with the corn onion and jeeroo. Stir over heat until onions are soft. Add the chicken, chillies, garlic, salt and pepper. Cook until tender. Stir in the Vermicelli and water. Continue to cook until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and add the sweet corn. Allow to cool.
Stir the flour and water together in a bowl until a smooth paste is formed. Set aside. If using phyllo pastry, cut into 7cm strips. Place a level teaspoon of mixture at the one end of each strip. Brush the end with the flour before sealing. Deep fry in moderately hot oil until lightly browned. Serve with lemon.
