Aasiyah the Wife of Pharaoh
We do not have a lot of information about the righteous woman Aasiyah bint Mazaahim, the wife of Pharaoh. All the details that have been narrated about her are from the Israa'eeliyyaat (stories from Jewish sources) and are not proven in any saheeh text as far as we know.
But it seems - and Allah knows best - that she was one of those who concealed their faith from Pharaoh, then her secret was found out. There follow some of the things that have been narrated about her, with some commentary:
Allah
Ta'aala says: "And Allah has set forth an example
for those who believe: the wife of Fir'awn (Pharaoh), when she said:
'My Lord! Build for me a home with You in Paradise, and save me from
Fir'awn (Pharaoh) and his work, and save me from the people who are
Zaalimoon (polytheists, wrongdoers and disbelievers in Allah)'"
[al-Tahreem 66:11]
Some Ulema are of the opinion that when She recited the Dua mentioned in the above Ayat, She immediately passed away, the veil between Jannat and earth was opened and She was lifted to Her abode in Jannat.
Abu Moosa al-Ash'ari Radiyallahu Anhu narrates that Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam said: "The men who attain perfection are many, but there are no woman who have attained perfection apart from Aasiyah the wife of Pharaoh and Maryam bint 'Imraan, and the superiority of 'Aa'ishah over all other women is like the superiority of thareed* over all other foods." (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 3230; Muslim, 2431)
* Thareed - A type of food beloved to Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam.
Ibn 'Abbaas Radiyallahu Anhu said: Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam drew four lines on the ground, then he said, "Do you know what this is?" We said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The best of the women of Paradise are Khadeejah bint Khuwaylid, Faatimah bint Muhammad, Aasiyah bint Mazaahim the wife of Pharaoh, and Maryam bint 'Imraan - may Allah be pleased with them." (Narrated by Ahmad, 2663. Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami', 1135)
Anas Radiyallahu Anhu narrates that Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam said: "Sufficient for you among the women of the world are Maryam the daughter of 'Imraan. Khadeejah bint Khuwaylid, Faatimah bint Muhammad and Aasiyah the wife of Pharaoh." (Narrated and classed as saheeh by al-Tirmidhi, 3878)
Al-Haafiz ibn Hajar said: Among the virtues of Aasiyah the wife of Pharaoh is that she chose death over royal privilege and torment in this world over the luxury in which she was living. And her insight concerning Moosa Alaihis Salaam was correct when she said "A comfort of the eye for me" [al-Qasas 28:9 - interpretation of the meaning].

Two Geese were about to go south for their annual autumn migration, when a Frog came up to them and asked if they would take him with them. The Geese agreed if the Frog could work out how he would be carried by them. The Frog produced a long stalk of grass, got the two geese to hold each end whilst he clung to its middle with his mouth.
In this manner the three were making their journey when they were noticed from below by some men.
The men expressed their admiration for the device and wondered who had been clever enough to discover it. As soon as the Frog heard them he opened his mouth and said: "It was I"... He lost his hold and fell onto the earth.
It was once said that even if you do not commit any sins, you should fear that you may fall into something which is worse...

Ingredients:
500gr rump steak, finely cubed
1 tsp ghee
1
tsp garlic paste
1 tsp fresh red chillies
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp steak & chops spice
½ tsp lemon pepper
3 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp mustard sauce
1 tbsp chilli sauce
1 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tomatoes, liquidized
2 med potatoes cut into small cubes
Puff pastry
2
egg yolks
Tip: Alternatively one can add cheese and red chutney for a cheesy flavour.
Method:
Cook on high heat for 5 minutes, reduce heat and
cook on low until tender. Boil potatoes until cooked. Combine steak and
potatoes. Grease a rectangular oven proof dish. Roll out pastry to fit
the base and sides of dish. Spoon cooked steak and potato mixture over
pastry. Roll out more pastry and cut a rectangle to fit the top of the
pie. Place pastry over filling and press sides down with your thumb. Brush
with egg yolks. Take a sharp knife and cut squares deep into the pastry.
Sprinkle
sesame seeds and bake in a pre heated oven of 180 degree until golden
brown.
