THE LION AND THE STATUE

A Man and a Lion were discussing the relative strength of men and lions in general. The Man contended that he and his fellows were stronger than lions by reason of their greater intelligence. ‘Come now with me,’ he cried, ‘and I will soon prove that I am right.’ So he took him into the public gardens and showed him a statue of Hercules overcoming the Lion and tearing his mouth in two.
‘That is all very well,’ said the Lion, ‘but proves nothing, for it was a man who made the statue.’

4 bunches small methi bhaji
1 bunch dhania
1 egg
2 tblspns tal(sesame seeds)
2 tblspns cus-cus(poppy seeds)
2 tblspns whole jeeru
1 tsp fine salt
1 tsp baking powder
2 tblspns sojee/ taystee wheat
2 cups flour
1 cup sour milk(must be room temperature)
± 2 tblspns ghee

Method:
Soak sojee in sour milk for a little while in a dish.Wash bajhi and dhania.Chop into small pieces and drain on carlton paper..Add rest of ingredients to sojee mixture and make a soft dough(like puri dough).Leave overnight in fridge before frying.Roll out a little thick and cut into sections like puri.Serve hot with red chutney.

THE HORN

One day while driving with my 4 year old daughter, I beeped the horn by mistake.

She turned and looked at me for an explanation.

I said, "I did that by accident."

She replied, "I know that....'cause you didn't say YOU JERK afterwards!"
