Surah Al-Hadeed 57: - (The Iron)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Most-Merciful

"All this is like rain, the vegetation of which attracts the farmers, then it withers, and you see it turning yellow, then it becomes straw..." (57:20)

COMMENTARY: The word Ghaith means 'rain'. The parable means that in the wake of rain vegetation of all sorts grows, and it pleases the farmers, especially the non-believers. But the vegetation soon turns yellow in colour, after being fresh and green. After that, the green fades away and becomes scattered particles of dust.

This is the example of humankind in this life. They are young and strong in the beginning. In this stage of life, they look youthful and handsome. Gradually, old age overcomes them which does away with all their beauty and freshness until they die and become dust. This parable indicates the end of this life, while in contrast, the Hereafter is surely coming, the significance of which is given in the following words...

POEM
Strength was her middle name,
she was an army on her own, fighting the battles in her mind.

She never needed anything nor anyone...
She was a warrior that life created, it made her a woman way too young.

Life erased everything inch of child left inside her,
Then one-day she broke, unveiling hidden tears from a dark past that no one saw, no one knew for she never brought it out,

Crying a river of tears lost beneath the seas but they were always in the dark, on silent cold nights when she was alone.
she didn't know how to cry no more because her tears became a norm and dried up like the blood in her veins,

She turned into ice but can you blame her?
She was alive but barely living every single being saw what they chose to forgetting to dig deeper into her scars and seal them up properly.

The world took her smile for granted because they believed in her little mask,
she was beautiful a soul like no other rare, kind and always taking care of everyone else,

She was brave.
She walked bare foot her entire life trying to erase the molded shoes on her feet,

A heartache one cannot forget ...

For she's still a young girl crying to be seen,
But also a mother of three...

THE SMILE

I'LL TRUST YOU ANYWAY

A tourist parked his car in the downtown. He said to a man standing near the curb, "Listen, I'm going to be only a couple of minutes. Would you watch my car while I run into this store?"

"What?" the man huffed. "Do you realize that I am a member of congress?"

"Well no," the tourist said, "I didn't realize that. But it's all right. I'll trust you anyway."
