WORSHIP Brethren in faith! I implore you to fear Allaah and be dutiful to Him. Allaah says, "O you who believe! Fear Allaah as He should be feared and die not except in a state of Islaam." (Aal 'Imraan 3:102) Fellow Muslims! Allaah certainly has no need of His creatures and their acts of worship. Their obedience does not avail Him of any benefit nor does their disobedient harm Him. Human being by nature either worships Allaah or worships any other thing. He either worships Allaah or worships wealth, desires, lusts, evils among men and jinn or any other thing he can think of. It then shows here that, worshipping only Allaah means freeing oneself from worshipping other deities besides Allaah knowingly or unknowingly. For the heart cannot be reformed, have bliss and tranquility except through worshipping Allaah alone and returning to Him in repentance. read more |

ALLAHUMMAGH FIRLY WA LIL MUMINEENA WAL MUMINAAT WAL MUSLIMEENA WAL MUSLIMAAT. It was narrated from ‘Asim al-Ahwal that ‘Abdullah ibn Sarjis said: I saw the Prophet (peace an blessings of Allah be upon him) and I ate bread and meat with him – or he said: thareed. He (the narrator) said: I said to him: Did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pray for forgiveness for you? He said: Yes, and for you. Then he recited this verse: “And ask forgiveness for your sin, and also for (the sin of) believing men and believing women” [Muhammad 47:19]. Narrated by Muslim, 2346. |

Talking Back Joke Our flight was about to take off when the passenger behind me immediately launched into a loud and annoying conference call on his cell phone. "Sally, get the customer lists. Charlie, pull all the data together we have on… Bob, can you bring us up to date…" and on and on. As the flight attendant began the preflight safety instructions, the executive's voice was drowned out by the PA system. While the safety speech continued, I heard him mutter into the phone, "Hold on a second. Some people just like to hear themselves talk."
