SURAH NAAZIAAT CONTINUED…
IN THE NAME OF ALLAH THE BENEFICIENT THE MOST MERCIFUL1. I swear by those (angels) who pull out (the souls) vigorously.
Five characteristics of the angels are mentioned which are concerned with or related to the extraction of the soul at the time of death. The purport of the verses is to affirm that Resurrection is a certainty. It starts with human death. Every man's death is his partial Day of Doom, and this has an important impact on his belief in Resurrection.
This refers to the angels of punishment who draw the souls of the infidels vigorously and harshly. The words 'vigorously' refer to spiritual pain. The humans around the dying person may not be sensitive to the pain. Often it is noticed that the soul of an infidel apparently slips out easily, but this ease is perceived by humans around the dying man. The pain is felt by the soul of the dying person. Who can perceive it? We are aware of it only because Allah has informed us about it in this verse.

Brother Abdullah gets a salary of 4000 per month plus many debts. He says: "I thought I'm going to live like this forever... I was always afraid that I will pass away before repaying my debts which were constantly increasing instead of decreasing.
It was the way marriage life goes... and although I was comfortable with my wife who understands our situation, debts were always making our life harder.One day I went out with guys like me whom I usually share my problems with… On that day one of them, gave me the advice of specifying a part of my salary for charity.
"I am hardly feeding myself" I answered him. Later that night I told this to my wife and she said "Try, may Allah help us out.” So I decided to give 300 every month as charity.
Since then my life became much better, my debts are just disappearing, I find money pouring on me however I turn. Believe me and take my advice, give charity then wait and see how you will get a better life.
Abu Sara, a Mechanical Engineer with a salary of 9000, used to spend all of his salary even though it is quite a good amount and he owns a house. He says: "I don't know where all the money was going! Each month I said to myself that, I will save some money for the future but it just flies away.
At last one of my friends advised me to give some share of my salary for charity; I decided to fix an amount of 500 for that. Believe me the first month I ended up with 2000 still there in my account even though my bills and necessities are still the same. I was so happy and decided to raise the amount to 900 a month and after five months I got a raise in my salary thanks to Allah. Since I started giving charity, everything became better for me and my family. Try it out, it's true!
The Warranty that Charity gives you a better life: It's a proof of belief as the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said "Charity is a proof.”
A cause of healing: as Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said "Heal your sick with charity.”
It shades you on Judgment day: "Each person is in the shade of his charity till people are judged", said the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam.Cools Allah’s anger: Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said: "Giving in secret cools Allah’s anger.”
Love of Allah: as Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said "The most loved actions to Allah are :Happiness you give to a Muslim, or Sadness you take way, or Debt you help him with, or Hunger you put away, supporting my brother in one of his needs is better for me than staying in this Masjid for a month.”
Opens doors of Mercy: The Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said "Allah will have mercy on those who are merciful, Have mercy on those on earth and you will get mercy from him who is in heaven.”
Gives Thawab (reward) even after death: "When a human dies, all his doings are over except three: Continuous Charity, Usable knowledge/science or a righteous child praying for him", said the prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam.Protects you as the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said "Good doings protect from bad destinies.”
NOTE: If you convince someone to give charity, you will get the same Thawab (good deed) he is getting without affecting his, this is because you will be the reason of him doing good. This means you may die and still someone will be there to pay charity on your behalf (Continuous Charity - Sadaqa Jariya).A SINGLE ACT OF GENEROSITY IS LIKE A PEBBLE THROWN INTO A POND THAT CREATES WIDENING RIPPLES (WAVE) OF GOODNESS FOR OURSELVES AND OTHERS.
DUA (PRAYER)
ALLAHUMMA INNY ATOOBU ILAYKA MINHAA LAA ARJIU ILAYHAA ABADAA. “O Allah! I repent to thee from this sin and I promise that I never commit this sin again.”BENEFIT: It comes in a Hadith that whosoever repents to Allah SWT reciting this Dua will surely have his/her sins forgiven.

One Sunday afternoon, Abu Bakr and his sister Aatikah were playing in the lounge of their home. Aatikah played with her plastic tea set and pretended to make tea. She offered a cup and saucer to Abu Bakr and said, “Here Abu Bakr, let’s have tea.”Abu Bakr however was too busy with his new red truck and ignored his sister. “Abu Bakr, would you like a hot cup of tea?” she asked again. She held the empty cup in front of him.
Abu Bakr became angry and pushed the cup away. “Leave me alone, Aatikah,” he said. “I don’t want to play your silly tea party game. Go and bother someone else.”
Aatikah felt very hurt. Not only did Abu Bakr not want to play with her but he had also called her ‘tea party’ a silly game. Because she felt so bad, she leaned over and pushed Abu Bakr’s truck so that it fell onto its side. “Look! Your silly little truck had an accident,” she said.
Abu Bakr became very angry. “How dare you touch my truck,” he shouted. He gave Aatikah a hard push. She pushed him back. He pushed her again. She began to cry.
Their parents heard the noise and rushed into the room. “Stop this nonsense at once!” said their father. She started it first,” said Abu Bakr. “No! He did,” cried Aatikah. Their parents were very upset with them. Aatikah and Abu Bakr had to explain to their parents how the fight had started.
When they had finished explaining, their father said to them, “You should treat each other with love and respect. You should not fight. We are all upset because of your fight but guess who is very happy right now?”
“Who?” asked the children? “Shaytaan,” replied their father.
“Aatikah and Abu Bakr felt very ashamed of themselves. They did not want to make Shaytaan happy. They hated Shaytaan. They knew that Shaytaan loved it when people behaved badly. He wanted to take people to Jahannam with him.
Aatikah and Abu Bakr did not want to go to Jahannam. They wanted to go to Jannah. They also wanted Allah to be pleased with them. Besides, it is a wonderful thing to have your brother or sister as your friend.
“I’m sorry for fighting,” Aatikah said to Abu Bakr. “I’m sorry too,” said Abu Bakr. Then Abu Bakr asked Aatikah if she would make him a cup of tea in her tea set. Aatikah was pleased and the two children went of happily to play.

1 pkt Romany cream biscuits (crushed) - 1 tin Caramel treat - 1 tin Nestle Cream - Mix all together and beat well - 1 cup whipped cream - 1 Peppermint crisp chocolate.Method
Crush the biscuits. Layer in casserole dish. Pour cream mixture over biscuits. Decorate with Peppermint Crisp. Leave to set.COOKING TIP
