Abdullah bin Dinar reported: `Abdullah bin `Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) met a bedouin on his way to Makkah, he greeted him, offered him to mount the donkey he was riding and gave him the turban he was wearing on his head. Ibn Dinar said to him: "May Allah make you pious! Bedouins can be satisfied with anything you give them (i.e., what you have given the bedouin is too much). Upon this, `Abdullah bin `Umar said, the father of this man was one of `Umar's friends whom he loved best, and I heard Messenger of Allah saying, "The finest act of goodness is the good treatment of someone whom one's father loves".

Another narration goes: When `Abdullah bin `Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) set out to Makkah, he kept a donkey with him to ride when he would get tired from the riding of the camel, and had a turban which he tied round his head. One day, as he was riding the donkey, a bedouin happened to pass by him. He (`Abdullah bin `Umar) said, "Aren't you so-and-so?'' The bedouin said, "Yes". He (`Abdullah bin `Umar) gave him his donkey and his turban and said, "Ride this donkey, and tie this turban round your head". Some of his companions said, "May Allah forgive you, you gave to this bedouin the donkey which you enjoyed to ride for change, and the turban which you tied round your head".`Abdullah bin `Umar said,"I heard Messenger of Allah Sallallahu Alyhi Wa Sallam saying, `The finest act of goodness is the kind treatment of a person to the loved ones of his father after his death,' and the father of this person was a friend of `Umar (May Allah be pleased with him). [Muslim]

Commentary: This Hadith teaches that after the death of one's parents, one should maintain contact with their friends and treat them nicely. Besides being a great virtue it is warranted by the needs for showing compassion to relatives. To forget friends of one's parents and break contact with them is condemned by the Shari`ah.

Israel's prime minister-designate, Tzipi Livni, has called for more work towards reaching a peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians. A weekend earthquake killed at least 58 people in Kyrgyzstan and destroyed many homes in the Central Asian region. The earthquake measures 6.3 on the Richter scale. It hit an area between Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan - Central Asia's most densely populated corner.

Snake man emerges unbitten after 113 days. The man fondly dubbed "Mad Martin" has broken a Guinness world record. He is the first person to live with venomous snakes for 113-days. Martin Smit left his enclosure this afternoon, after lodging with 40 venomous snakes, at a Hartbeespoort Dam Reptile Park. Smit said the past three months had been long, but he applauded his companions for being on their best behaviour.

Base
1 pkt Eetsum mor or Tennis biscuits - 3 tblsps butter / margarine - Alternatively use short crust pastry to line baking tin.

Method
Crush the biscuits and mix well with the melted butter. Press in a 23cm spring form baking tin (loose bottom tin). Mix all the ingredients and scoop the mixture into the biscuit lined baking tin. Bake at 180c for 35/40 minutes till set. Cool cake. Decorate with softened caramel and sprinkle chocolate over or use topping of your choice. The cheese cake should have a slight wobble in the middle and the remaining heat in the cheesecake will set it. If your cheesecake cracks on setting it has probably been overcooked.

the intensity of the pain
unconcievable by the brain
they said it was like

All I can do is Pray

I heard that some hallucinated
and from the pain
commited blasphemy
now.... I really won't like

that caring about someone else

Will I go to Janah
what my soul always desired?
or will I be sent
directly to the hellfire?

My soul always tells me:
"No ,that won't happen to you....
you are a pious man
with a heart
overflown with Iman
Allah will spare you
from the pain"....

But how can that be true....
When the Prophet sent to you
better than you and him.....
peace be upon him
suffered these moments too
.....just like that

Or are you better than him?!?!?

So my advice for you
......and for me too
is to stick to The Book
sent by The Creator of man
(and every other thing)
The Holy Quran
and read a part daily ,
at least one chapter
this insha Allah
is good for the Hereafter
not only reading....
....understanding too
Quran and Sunnah ...
stick to these two

Is it too hard
to do that at once?
