SURAH AL- Jinn 72: (Jinns)
This
Surah is Makki. It has 28 verses and 2 sections.
With the name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Very- Merciful
"If they remain steadfast upon the path, we shall definitely bless them with abundant showers..." [16] "...To test them with it. Whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Rabb, we shall enter him into a severe punishment" [17]
COMMENTARY: In the previous lesson we discussed how after listening to the recitation of the Quraan by Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam, the Jinn realized that they are also a creation of Allah Ta'aala and they will be questioned regarding their actions.
In this weeks lesson, Allah Ta'aala tells Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam to inform the non believers of Makkah that if they bring Imaan and remain steadfast on Islaam then instead of punishing them with droughts, Allah Ta'aala will bless them with abundant rain. Mention is made of the fact that the rains will also be sent down as a test to see if they will express gratitude or not. Whoever turns away from Imaan and the worship of Allah Ta'aala will be given a severe punishment.

* Nearly 20 motorists were held for speeding on the M1 North on the weekend, Johannesburg metro police said. "Eighteen motorists were arrested for speeding on the M1 North at the Corlett Drive off-ramp between 8pm on Saturday night and 6am on Sunday.

An Apple A Day
"An apple a day keeps the doctor away" according to a study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. When the dietary habits of more than 34,000 women were recorded, apples were one of few foods that had the highest correlation with reduction of both cardiovascular disease (any heart and blood vessel ailment, including coronary heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, heart failure, etc.) and coronary heart disease (caused by narrowing of coronary arteries in or near the heart). Pears were also put in the category of apples.
FARM

125g butter or margarine - 1/2 cup sugar - 2 extra large eggs - 2 1/4 cups cake flour - 1ml salt - 2 tsp baking powder - 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda - 150g fruit cake mix - 1 cup sour milk - 1/2 cup milk.
Method
Beat butter and sugar. Add egg at a time and beat until light
and fluffy. Sift dry ingredients and add to egg mix. Add fruit. Whisk
sour milk and milk together and mix. Spoon into well greased 23cm loaf
and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 55 - 60 minutes. Cool
off slightly in tin before turning out onto wire rack.
This recipe makes 1 loaf.

There were three fathers to be in a hospital waiting room, waiting for their babies to be born.
The first nurse comes out and tells the first father, "Congratulations you're the father of twins!" He says, "Great! I am the manager for the Minnesota Twins."
The second nurse comes out and tells the second father, "Congratulations you're the father of triplets"! He says, "That's cool! I work for 3M."
The third father opens the window and jumps out.
The third nurse comes out, and asks, "Where's the third father?"
One of the other fathers said, "Oh he jumped out the window."
The nurse asks, "Why?"
He replied, "He works for Seven Up!"
