The four months, according to authentic Ahaadith, are the months of Zul-Qa`dah, Zul Hijjah, Muharram and Rajab. The sanctity of these four months was observed in the Shari'ah of all the Ambiyaa (AS).

'Allah Ta'ala made them (i.e. the four months) sacred and increased their sanctity. Hence declared a sin therein more severe and increased the virtue of good deeds and (also) the reward thereof.' (Ibn Katheer).

The Ulama have stated that the actions performed in these months have an effect on what a person does in the remaining months of the year.

Israel’s Merciless Attack on Gaza’s Defenceless People - Adie Mormech, Ghazi Hamad and Ml E Bham

Adie Mormech of the International Solidarity Movement, spoke to Radio Islam LIVE from Gaza describing Israeli’s overnight bombing on Gaza, a defenceless civilian population. He mentioned that there were attacks throughout the night and that huge explosions were noted in Rafah in the South, Bayt Lahiya in the North, Khan Yunes as well as Gaza city.

Ghazi Hamad, Hamas Government spokesperson, spoke on the Killing of Ahmed Jabari and how the Resistance would continue to defend Palestinian people and Palestinian land, regardless of Israeli assassinations and aggression. Ml Ebrahim Bham too, shared his sentiments this morning on Sabahul Muslim.

Ghazi Hamad is Chairman of the border crossings authority in the Gaza Strip. He holds a Bachelor degree in Veterinary Medicine. For 25 years he has been a member of Hamas, and he is the former editor-in-chief of the Hamas weekly newspaper Ar-Risala. As of October 2004, Hamad was also the head of the Islamic Salvation Party. More recently he has assumed the role of a spokesman for Hamas, having gained considerable credibility through the popularity of his newspaper, his imprisonment by the Palestinian National Authority under the Fatah administration as well as his five year detention by the Israelis.
