DEVOTION TO ALLAH

Sh Moulana Abrarul Haq Saheb RA

Regarding the necessity of ‘Islamic’ attire the Qur'ân states: "Abandon (Zâhir) external and internal (Bâtini) sin." Al-Anaam Verse No:120

The Zâhir sinning would be that which is apparent to the naked eye, whatever the sin maybe. Hence, disregarding Islamic attire is a sin and it has to be omitted. Furthermore, the Zâhiri sin has been mentioned first, which stresses the importance of it.

A policeman is in the force for 25 years in which no complaints have been filed against him. He arduously carries out his duties until he reaches the status of a sergeant, and in a few years time he will be retiring only to receive a healthy pension. However, one day at a certain police function he arrives without his uniform, upon which he is reminded to wear it. After a few hours he is again seen out of uniform and reprimanded. He does not heed and eventually on the third occasion he is fired. After 25 years of service he is considered to be a failure and he is dismissed disgracefully.

Similar is the case of the Muslims of today, who worship Allah but discard the uniform as they consider it insignificant. Despite being disobedient they still entertain the hope of gaining success and cannot comprehend why they are afflicted with difficulties.

If a person sneezes and some clotted, dry blood comes out, wudu will not break. Wudu will only break if it is thin and flows. If a person inserts his finger in his nose, and after removing it sees a spot of blood which is more like a stain on his finger but does not flow, wudu will not break.

THE SMILE

"Dad, where did I come from?" asks this 10-years-old. The father was shocked that a 10 year old would be asking a question like that. He was hoping to wait a few more years before he would have to explain the facts of life, but he figured it was better a few years early than a few days too late, so, for the next two hours he explained everything to his son. When he got finished, he asked his son what prompted his question to which his son replied, "I was talking to the new kid across the street and he said he came from Ohio, so I was just wondering where I came from."
