THE TREATMENT OF ANXIETY AND WORRIES

His Eminence Sheikh Saleh ibn Abdullah ibn Humaid –May Allah protect him– delivered this Friday khutbah titled “The Treatmentof Anxietyand Worries” in which he talked about anxiety, sleeplessness, worries and distress and how Islam treated them. He explained the necessity of resorting, in such cases, to Allah Almighty, imploring Him and putting oneself in His hands.As a result, all such worries and distress will go away.

Praise be to Allah in His Exaltedness, Sovereignty, and Grandeur! May He be sanctified in His Glory, Majesty and Sublimity! Abundant, blessed and pure praise is duly His! He bequeathed upon us favours from His benevolence, generosity and beneficence. I thank Him –May He be exalted– and ask him for more favours and benevolence. I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah alone with no associate. With such testimony I wish to gain success on the day I stand before Him. CHOC MINT CUP CAKES

Ingredients
125g Butter - 1 cup Sugar - 3 Eggs - 1 tsp Peppermint essence - ½ tsp green food colouring - 2 ½ cups cake flour - 3 tsps Baking Powder - Pinch salt - 1 cup milk - 1 cup desiccated coconut - Chocolate spread (Nutella to fill and decorate) - Grated peppermint crisp chocolate to decorate.

Method
Line 24 muffin tins with paper cases. Cream butter, sugar, essence and colouring until light & fluffy. Add eggs gradually, beating well after each addition. Fold in sifted flour baking powder salt and coconut. Spoon half the batter evenly into 24 paper cases. Top centre of each muffin with half a teaspoon chocolate spread. Spoon remaining batter evenly over chocolate spread. Bake at 180 for about 25 minutes until done. Decorate.

The father of five children had won a toy at a raffle. He called his kids together to ask which one should have the present.

"Who is the most obedient?" he asked.

"Who never talks back to mother? Who does everything she says?"
