WARNING AGAINST FALSE RUMOURS (AL-IRJAAF) AND THOSE WHO SPREAD THEM (AL-MURJIFOON)

His Eminence Sheikh Saleh ibn Abdullah ibn Humaid –May Allah protect him– delivered this Friday khutbah entitled “Warning against False Rumours (Al-Irjaaf) and Those Who Spread Them (Al-Murjifoon)” in which he talked about false rumours and those who spread them. He warned against such behaviour, showing that spreading false rumours is one of the most salient features characterising hypocrites. He also exhorted Muslims to verify any piece of news before spreading it. He urged them not to propagate whatever might thwart or demoralise Muslims. Finally, he called their attention to what should be done as to false rumours and those who spread them. read more

WHEN GETTING UP FROM A MEETING

The Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) said: "No one sits in a seating place in which he utters much confusion, but then says prior to getting up from that seating place of his: Subhãnaka 'allãhumma wa bihamdika, 'ash-hadu 'allã 'ilãha 'illã 'anta, 'astaghfiruka wa 'atoobu 'ilayka - except that Allah would cover up for him that which occurred in that seating of his".

“Glorified are You O' my 'ilãh and I am in your praise, I testify that there is no 'ilãh except You, I ask your forgiveness and repent unto You.”

* Dlamini lied, says Sassa CEO - Thokozani Magwaza, chief executive officer of the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has applied to the Constitutional Court for permission to file an affidavit countering claims made by Minister of Social Development Bathabile Dlamini last week.

FRIED SAVOURY CHOPS

Ingredients
1kg Lamb chops - 1tblsp red ginger masala - ¼ cup lemon juice - 1tsp ground Dhania - 1tsp Salt - 1 tsp ground Jeeroo - ½ tsp fine black pepper - ¼ tap arad - ¼ cup water.

Batter
1 cup self raising flour - 1 small onion grated ) Processed - 1 small tomato grated) - 1 Egg - ½ tsp salt - 1 tblsp tal (sesame seeds) - ½ tsp fine red chillies - 2 tblsps freshly chopped greens - Water as required.

Method
Combine all the ingredients together in a pot and cook over medium heat adding more water if necessary until chops are tender. Allow to cool. Mix all the ingredients for the batter together in a bowl and mix well, adding just enough water to form a batter of medium consistency. Dip the chops in the batter and shallow fry in a non stick frying pan until golden brown on both sides.
