Surah An-Najam 53: - (The Star)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Most-Merciful

“Thus He [Allah] revealed to His servant what He revealed…” 53:10

COMMENTARY: (“Thus He [Allah] revealed to His servant what He revealed…” 53:10) The subject pronoun understood in the past perfect verb ‘Awhaa’ (He revealed) refers to Allah, and so does the pronoun in 'Abdih’ (His servant), and the verse means: Allah revealed to His servant Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) whatever He revealed through the medium of Jibraeel AS by attaching him so intimately to the Noble Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam).

Thus, marked by thematic and structural coherence, the Qur'an confirms that it is an absolutely true and veritable word of Allah. This may be compared to the Muhaddithins' study of Hadith. In order to verify the authenticity of the Traditions of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) they trace in full the chains of authorities from themselves [that is, the last of the authorities] to the Noble Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam).

In these verses Allah sets up the chain of authorities:

1. Allah is the ‘Muhi’, that is, He is the Ultimate Source from where the revelation originates.
2. Jibra'eel (AS) is the transmitting authority between Allah and the Messenger of Allah.

The above verses describe Jibraeel (AS) as magnificent in status and mighty in power: This confirms his honesty and integrity as the transmitting authority.

BEEF/ MUTTON KEBAABS

500g beef / mutton cubes or ready made mince
1 onion
1 small tomato
3 slices bread soaked in water
10 green chilies
½ bunch methi bhaji chopped
½ bunch green dhana chopped
1 tsp black pepper
1 Tbsp ginger/ garlic
1 ½ tsp salt
1 tsp jeeru
2 tsp dhana powder
1 Tbsp chana flour
10 sticks spring onion chopped
½ bunch mint leaves chopped
1 tsp baking powder

Mince together beef/ mutton, onion, tomato, bread and chilies. Mix in the rest of the ingredients. Make small packets of mixture and freeze until needed or shape into small balls and deep fry in medium heat until medium brown
