We are currently in the second month of the lunar calendar, Safar.

Many people have corrupt beliefs and say that the month of Safar is bad-luck, evil, ill-omened, unfortunate etc., such that marriages, major transactions and the like must not be conducted in this month. The Messenger of Allah (Allah’s peace be upon him) opposed false and superstitious beliefs.

Allah Most High says in the Qur’an al-Kareem:

“No misfortune befalls except by Allah’s command...” [Surah Taghabun 64: 11]
Further such baseless superstition is explicitly refuted by the following words from the Messenger of Allah (Allah’s peace be upon him):

There is no superstitious owl, bird, no star-promising rain, no (bad omen in the month of) Safar. [Sahih Bukhari, Hadith 5707]

The above Ahaadith clearly refute all incorrect beliefs and superstitions regarding the month of Safar.

Chilli Cheese Toast

4 Slice Bread
1 tsp fine green chillies
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup grated cheese
Chopped greens
30g melted butter

Method:
Place bread in shallow tray. Whisk all ingredients beside butter. Pour over bread. Refrigerate -+ 30 min (must do). Preheat oven to 180C. Bake in oven +- 10/15 min. Remove from oven. Pour butter over and grill for 2 min. Remove and cut into square.

During an Interview, the Employer asked the Candidate

Employer: 'How long did u work during your last job?
Candidate: 30 years.
Employer: What's your age?
Candidate: 20 years.

The Employer was surprised and asked the candidate that how it is possible that you are 20 and have a experience of 30 years.

Candidate: Overtime.
