In South Africa's embrace, a story to convey,
Where an old church found a new light one fine day.

Given a ghusal rebirth, did it find,
Fresh carpets as its garments, it did not mind.

A fitting topee crowned its head, a green dome so grand,
Nature itself approved with its hand.

On Friday's sacred call, from the minaret so high,
It declared the Shahada, reaching for the sky.

A declaration of faith, a symbol of unity and grace,
In this diverse world, finding its rightful place.

For in this tale of transformation and love's sweet decree,
The old church became a beacon for all to see.

PLAIT BREAD
Ingredients
4 Cups flour - 1 tsp salt - 1 pkt yeast (10g) - 65grm butter - 1 egg - 21/2 cups lukewarm water - 1/4 cup oil - 4 tblsp sugar.

Method
Add all ingredients together except the water. Make dough and leave to rise. Once risen divide dough into 3 parts. Leave on part plain, put chillies in the second and parsley in the 3rd. Plait it and leave to rise. Brush with egg and put jeeroo on one poppy seed on the other and tal on the third. Bake in moderate oven till cooked.

EYE IN THE SKY

A speeding motorist was caught by radar from a police helicopter in the sky. An officer pulled him over and began to issue a traffic ticket. "How did you know I was speeding?" the frustrated driver asked.
The police officer pointed somberly towards the sky.
"You mean," asked the motorist, "that even He is against me?"
