RECIPE

BLUEBERRY SCONES

Ingredients
1 Tub Fresh cream - 1 tblsp sugar - 2 eggs - 4 tsps Baking powder - Handful of coconut - 3 cups flour – approximately - ½ tin Blueberries drained.

Method
Whisk fresh cream and sugar. Add eggs and coconut. Ad baking powder and flour. Lastly fold in strained blueberries. Bake at 200c for approximately 15 minutes.

BORING REQUEST

The customer ordering a floral arrangement from my shop was giving me very specific guidelines. “Nothing fragrant,” she instructed. “Nothing too tall or too wild. And no bright colors, please. My house is decorated in beige and cream. Here is a wallpaper sample.” She handed me a plain square of tan-colored paper.

“Your name?” I asked.

“Mrs. Bland,” the woman replied.
