Depression's dark shadows have loomed,
moments of fake happiness have masked my true emotions.
Yet, amidst it all,
one constant has remained:

my unwavering determination to rise above,
to heal, and to evolve into the best version of myself.

ALLAH'S steadfast presence has been my guiding light,
illuminating even the darkest moments.
My support circle,
though tested and tried,
has proven unbreakable,
and for that,
I'm eternally grateful.

Still, despite the fullness of life,
my heart remains hollow in one profound way:
The absence of my parents.

No matter,
how many loving souls surround me,
their void echoes deeply.
I've come to understand that this ache will remain,
a bittersweet reminder of the love we shared.

In this fragile,
beautiful life,
I'll continue to hold space for my grief,
even as I celebrate my growth,
my resilience,
and the love that remains.
