One should cover open utensils at night because it is mentioned in Muslim Sharief that “there is one night in the year wherein plague / disease descends. If this happens to pass over any open utensil, then a portion of that plague / disease will definitely fall into it.

CRISPY FRIED CHICKEN

1 chicken disjointed and marinated in the following:
½ cup milk - 2 Tbsp yoghurt - 1 Tbsp butter 2 tsp lemon juice - 1 tsp ginger garlic - salt and ground green chillies to taste.

Method
Marinate the chicken in the above and leave aside for 2 hours. Than roll the chicken in this flour mixture:
½ cup flour - ½ cup each of elachi powder, red chillies, crushed jeer. Black pepper and salt. 1 tsp dried mint.

Roll chicken in bread crumbs and fry in oil over low heat.
