The Power of Us

This week, we are exploring a theme that reminds us of something very important: The Power of Us.

O Allah, do not deprive us of his reward and do not let us stray after him. [Sunan Abi Dawud] (Aameen)

One lunchtime I watched the waiter in the sandwich shop spreading mayonnaise on my bread, and noticed part of his grubby work shirt was dragging across it. "Excuse me," I ventured, "your sleeve is in the mayo."

"No problem," he reassured me. "I need to wash it anyway."
