O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, those present and those absent, our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allah, whom amongst us You keep alive, then let such a life be upon Islam, and whom amongst us You take unto Yourself, then let such a death be upon faith. O Allah, do not deprive us of his reward and do not let us stray after him. [Sunan Abi Dawud] (Aameen)

1 bottle (1 to 1.5 litres) of Sprite or lemonade
2–3 black tea bags (such as Five Roses)
Ice cubes
Lemon slices (optional)
Fresh mint (optional)

Method
Open the bottle of Sprite or lemonade and pour out a little to make room for the tea bags.
Add 2–3 tea bags to the bottle.
Close the bottle gently and place it in the fridge.
Allow the tea to infuse for a few hours, tasting occasionally until you get your preferred flavour.

Remove the tea bags.
Pour into a glass filled with ice.
Add lemon slices and fresh mint if desired.

Tip: Try peach or berry tea bags for a fruity twist. Keep refrigerated and open carefully, as the drink is fizzy.
