Bottle Brush Tree The bottle brush tree, once dry and dead, Now stands so green, with blossoms bright red. Allah brought it back to life once more, And nourished it, as He had done before. Birds among its foliage lush and sweet, Some squawk, some chirp, and others tweet. I wonder what they have to say, As they sing and chatter through the day. Colourful birds, so bright and sweet, I wish this becomes their regular seat. They brighten my day, lift my mood, And keep away evil from my neighbourhood. They ask for nothing, yet Allah provides; He feeds every creature that lives and abides. The tree, the birds, the flowers, the bee— All proclaim His glory silently. — Zaki Sema |

CHILD'S MIND A 4 year old little girl had an ear-ache and wanted a painkiller. She tried in vain to take the lid off the bottle. Seeing her frustration, her Mom explained it was a childproof cap and she'd have to open it for her.
