Ad Description: Financial Manager/JHB• Responsible for delivery of the financial management, accounting and financial control function through other managers and their teams.
• Ensure quality and timely financial reporting to various company/ branch boards, the Exco and other users.
• Ensure delivery of the annual financial statements, tax returns and regulatory returns across multiple jurisdictions.
• Contributes to and implements financial strategy.
• Assists in deciding on the financial and business viability of new and existing projects and programmes.
• Analyse financial information and provide insight that supports decisions to improve competitiveness, profitability and growth.
• Drive the business planning process and outcomes for the administration businesses.
• Prepare financial forecasts.
• Ensure optimal capital utilisation in the business
• Manage the appropriate capitalisation of new project expenditure
• Responsible for audit liaison as well as tax, legislative & statutory requirements.
