Ad Description: Senior Finance Specialist / Head of FinanceOur client is seeking an accomplished Senior Finance Specialist to lead and strategically direct the Finance and Audit function across their production, manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution operations. This role requires a seasoned finance leader with deep technical expertise, strong governance capabilities, and a proven track record in financial transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership of the Finance and Audit function
Lead and execute financial transformation and process optimisation initiatives
Establish and maintain a robust financial control environment
Oversee financial governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks
Develop, monitor, and report on financial and operational KPIs
Ensure accurate monthly management accounts and statutory reporting
Lead cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and liquidity planning
Oversee tax compliance, including PAYE, VAT, and statutory filings
Direct inventory valuation processes in line with accounting standards
Set, review, and enforce internal financial policies and procedures
Oversee payroll operations and IRP reconciliations
Act as a key business partner to senior leadership and operational teams
Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance and Audit team
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor of Science Degree (or equivalent)
Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
Minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification finance experience
Significant experience within manufacturing, production, warehousing, or distribution environments
Proven leadership experience with strong governance and transformation expertise
Demonstrated ability to operate at executive and board level
