Company Overview:
We’re seeking a Junior Financial Manager to join our team and help drive our financial operations with accuracy and insight.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and prepare management accounts for review by senior management.
Monitor day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Manage and mentor a small team of finance staff to ensure smooth operations.
Support senior management in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making.
Assist with accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and audits.
Contribute to improving financial processes and internal controls.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
BCom degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in finance or accounting roles.
Strong understanding of financial statements, management accounts, accounting principles, and budgeting.
Experience in managing or supervising a small team is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Sage, Pastel Evolution
strong accounting software experience is advantageous.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
