Ad Description: Technical Support Assistant
Technical Support provides technical assistance and support to employees and clients
You will be tasked with solving complex technical issues and will also collaborate with team members across all departments to assist them with their technical requirements.
Technical support (or IT support) professionals help resolve client’s technical problems via email, phone, social media and in person. Client is defined as an organisation or a person in possession of tutortouch products, or a reseller, distributor of tutortouch and in turn their clients or end user.
Provide support and services to customers,
Identify and resolve barriers to understanding why clients are not utilizing tutortouch to 100% productivity within client base.
Your job includes conducting on-going testing of the company's existing equipment and software programs. If new software or hardware is received, you will test the product, provide feedback to the purchasing department & vendor, and make sure the products are compatible with the company's existing products and systems.
The ideal candidate
ust be organised, accurate and methodical and punctual.
Must have Matric and have basic computer skills. (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Must have an immaculate, professional, smart image.
Must have an articulate, professional telephone manner a wide grasp of the English language. A second language is an advantage.
Must be able to work under own direction, as well as work well under pressure.
Must possess good time management skills and able to prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
Great organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
The ability to be proactive and take the initiative.
Flexibility and adaptability.
Strong administration skills.
Discretion and trustworthiness - will often be party to confidential information.
